What is your made to order service?

Alongside our normal limited run dresses, we are launching a super exclusive run of  made to order dresses in select styles. The dresses will be available to order (pre-order) and will stop as soon as the allocated amount of orders is reached. The low numbers will be limited by the amount of printed fabric we have and will help us reach our zero waste goals whilst providing you with a truly unique and one of a kind dress.

Can I return or exchange a made to order dress?

You can, however we'd prefer you thought carefully about the purchase ahead of ordering. We do not take your personal measurements in the made to order service, and you will receive your dress in one of our pre-measured sizes. As such, this can be returned for resale to another Queen, if all return criteria are met.

Why do you offer pre-order?

We want to be able to make sure we minimise waste by making sure we produce as close to what is needed as possible. Pre-order enables us to help reach our zero waste goals at the same time as creating exclusivity, meaning every purchase is only even one of a small number.

How many of each dress will you make?

All of our dresses are exclusive, limited editions. The quantities will vary by each dress and depend on a number of factors. You can rest assured you'll be wearing an exclusive, slow fashion showstopper.

How are you sustainable? 

We believe in taking things slow. Our limited run dresses are produced with great care to make sure they stay in your wardrobe as long as possible. Our investment pieces are produced in alternative luxe fabrications in ethical factories that support and invest in their predominantly female workforce. 

Sustainability is hugely important to us, and we’ll be constantly trying to improve our practices across the board as we grow.

 

When will my dress ship?

We are just a small team of two running the business, so our shipping days are normally restricted to Tuesday and Thursday. If you wish to receive your order urgently, please email us at customercare@queensofarchive.com

 

Do you ship Worldwide?

Yes we do! We have partnered with DHL to offer DHL Express Worldwide shipping.

 

What type of shipping options do you offer?

We have partnered with DHL to offer Express Worldwide shipping. For the UK and most of Europe this means 1-3 days delivery, with the US takin 2-3 business days and Australia 3+ days. We also offer a slightly cheaper and slower Royal Mail 2nd class signed for service for the UK only. We currently cannot ship to Russia.

I've a split order, which mixes 'in stock' and 'pre-order' items - will you split the delivery or wait until all items are available?

We are aware that split orders from us can be a little more complicated than traditional retailers and brands. Our pre-order periods can result in mixed orders, where one item is on pre-order, and other item/items are in stock. 

In order to try and limit our impact on the environment, we'd prefer to send mixed, multiple item orders together, waiting for all items to be available to ship together. Of course we understand this isn't always preferred, so we'll be in touch to ask what you how you'd like to proceed.

Please note, the cost of postage may be affected by split deliveries, and may see an increase if you decide you'd like us to ship separately. We'll be in touch to make sure you are happy with any additional postage charges before we dispatch your items, and in this instance will send an invoice to cover any additional costs.

Can I cancel my pre-order before it ships?

Yes you can. We understand you may change your mind before we can ship the item. If you do, email us at customercare@queensofarchive.com and we’ll sort the rest.

Do you offer exchange?

Due to the exclusive, limited run of our dresses, please contact us at customercare@queensofarchive.com to discuss an exchange. We would need to receive the item back via our returns criteria outlined below before we send an exchanged item. 

Can I return my purchase?

You can return your item by contacting us at customercare@queensofarchive.com within 14 days of receipt of the item. The dress must be unworn, in its original condition with tags and labels unremoved. Please refer to our returns policy for further information on our return policy.

Are Returns free?

Unfortunately, we are not currently available to offer free returns at the moment. (Please refer to our returns policy for further information on our return policy.) As we grow this will be one of the things we look to change.

The cost of the return (likely to be the same as the cost of shipping to you originally) will be deducted from the refund amount, if the return criteria is met.

What currencies can I pay in?

We offer multiple currencies for payment. Please note, if you change your shipping country during checkout, this may affect the currency you pay in. You’ll be able to double check the country selected at the bottom of the website, should the geo location not identify your correct location.

What is Klarna?

Klarna is a payment service which allows you to pay for your purchase in 3 equal monthly instalments. Klarna is available on both pre-order purchases and normal purchases. Please note the Klarna button will not appear on pre-order product pages, but it will appear at the payment section of your transaction.

When opting to utilise the Klarna service, your payment contract is taken with Klarna via your Klarna account which you will create, if you are a new user. For more information please visit the Klarna website.

Is Klarna available in my country?
Klarna is currently only available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Great Britain and the USA.
